初冬的十一月，微涼的空氣中，傾瀉出一縷陽光，透過多彩的樹葉，灑在身上。在這多姿多彩的日子里，無錫外國語學校小學國際課程中心11月的“每月之星”評選活動也有了新的結(jié)果，這次誰會成為最亮的星呢？

 November in early winter, WXFLS primary international curriculum center ushered "Star of the Month" selection event in the November. Who will be the brightest star this time?

1 李可鎣（Coco）

三年級A班的李可鎣同學是一個沐浴在陽光中的小女孩。父母的陪伴是陽光，滋養(yǎng)她開朗隨和、溫暖善良的心性；老師的關(guān)懷是陽光，樹育她尊敬師長、篤學誠毅的身姿；同學的友愛是陽光，贈許她珍視友情、純真樂群的笑顏。閱讀、繪畫、鋼琴、舞蹈、擊劍、網(wǎng)球、編程、機器人，多彩的生活迎來精彩的收獲。2018年5月，CCTV希望之星英語風采大賽江蘇省一等獎；8月，CSCC全國學生英語詞匯大賽全國總冠軍；10月，劍橋通用英語五級能力PET；11月，通過了SCAT考核，獲得了2019年美國約翰霍普金斯大學小天才營CTY的入營資格。鎣者，磨金器令光澤也。愿你慢慢走、細細鎣，云帆千里，一生初心。

Coco, A third-grade student. She is a sweet girl who always bathes in sunshine which her teachers and her classmates provide with. All the love they give her makes her a lucky girl, always wearing a smiling face. She takes the initiative in the school and participates in various school activities actively. Coco also has a wide range of interests, using her leisure time to study reading, painting, dancing, fencing, tennis, coding, robot technology and playing the piano. Colorful life produces colorful fruits. Here are some goals Coco has achieved in 2018: She got the 1st prize in Jiangsu Province in CCTV Star of Outlook English Talent Competition and the Championship in CSCC National English Vocabulary Competition. In addition, she also got the Certification of Cambridge English Preliminary (PET), and the admission to John Hopkins CTY (Center for Talented Youth). Best wishes from her parents: May Coco as happy as she were and as powerful as possible in the future.

2  張子淇(Doris)

三年級B班的優(yōu)雅小公主，這是她自己給自己的定義，但她平時其實是個不拘小節(jié)特別女漢子又充滿熱情的一個小女孩。

她熱愛畫畫，跳舞，彈奏鋼琴，也喜歡運動，最喜歡的就是十萬個為什么？一直不停的問媽媽這是為什么，那是為什么。在學習上，她今年進步特別大，主要歸結(jié)于她“不懂就問”的好習慣。從以前的不識語文文字到現(xiàn)在的喜歡翻開她的全能小字典，對每個生詞都是仔細的查閱。媽媽說Doris她是一個不服輸?shù)男∨?，不畏懼，不后退，永遠給自己最好的鼓勵，讓自己成為一個好好學生。

Doris is the elegant princess of 3B, which is how she defines herself. But she is actually a little girl who is informal and full of enthusiasm.

She loves to draw, dance, play the piano, and do sports. What's more, she likes asking questions. She keeps asking questions of me all the time.

In terms of learning, I also think that she has made much progress this year, mainly due to her good habit of "ask questions if not understanding." In the past, she was ignorant to Chinese characters. Nowadays, she likes to look them up in her omnipotent dictionary. She looks up every new word carefully.

From a mother's point of view, I feel that she is like a calf. She does not admit defeat. She’s not afraid of anything. She doesn’t go back. She always encourages herself to become a merit student.

3 鄭守硯（Sue）

來自一年級B班的鄭守硯Sue是一個聰明伶俐、善良真誠，明理懂事的女孩子。勇于承擔、勤奮努力的優(yōu)秀品質(zhì)讓她不斷進步，取得了優(yōu)異的成績；擔任語文課代表的她認真負責，是老師的得力助手；她像小太陽一樣，照耀和溫暖著身邊的人。除了在學校的不俗表現(xiàn)，Sue還很注重自身的全面發(fā)展。鋼琴、舞蹈都是她的強項，畫畫、擊劍也是她堅持不懈的愛好。她積極參與校內(nèi)外的各種活動和比賽，多次在比賽中脫穎而出，最讓她自豪的一次是在“加油吧寶貝2019國際星光少兒春晚”中獲得了銀獎。她深知只有不斷的努力和堅持才能讓夢想之花綻放得更加美麗。

Zheng Shouyan, from Class B in the first grade, is a smart and kind, sincere and sensible girl. The courage to undertake, hard work of the excellent quality let her make continuous progress,and she has achieved excellent results.

As a representative of the Chinese class, she is serious and responsible, she is good helper of the teacher；she shines and warms the people around her like a sun. In addition to her good performance at school, Sue also pays great attention to her all-round development.

Playing the piano, dancing are her strengths, painting, fencing are also her hobbies. She actively participated in a variety of activities and competitions in and out of the school, the most proud one is to win the Silver Award in the "Come On Baby 2019 International Starlight Children Spring Festival Evening".She knows that only continuous efforts and persistence can make the flower of dreams more beautiful.

4陳凱賢（Jaden)

Jaden 是二年級B班的插班生，開始時的確不適應新環(huán)境，但是經(jīng)過他自身的努力和班級老師的鼓勵與幫助，他現(xiàn)在已經(jīng)慢慢適應這個新的小家庭。Jaden是一個活潑好動，樂觀和樂于助人的孩子，因此班上的小朋友都喜歡跟他一起玩。除了喜歡畫畫，Jaden更喜歡拓展性的活動例如游泳、踢足球、騎單車、滑輪滑、滑冰等活動。在2018年學校運動會，Jaden通過和班上同學的默契和努力，成功的得到了接力棒冠軍和二人三足季軍。他也曾參與和完成了2017年無錫City Hike 8km徒步，雖然年紀最小，但足以顯現(xiàn)出他的毅力和堅持。在課余時間，他也會選擇看一些英語書籍，為此還曾被選參加英語spelling bee 比賽，在比賽時表現(xiàn)得很好很自信。Jaden是個樂觀向上、勇于嘗試新事物孩子，他深知要得到成功就一定要用心學習和努力！加油！

Jaden was a new student of Y2B. Through his hardwork and encouragement from his teachers, he has gradually adapted to the new environment. Jaden is active and enthusiastic no matter in his daily activities or academic, as such, he mades many friends in the new school. Besides drawing, he likes outdoor activities such as swimming, soccer, cycling, roller-skate, ice-skating, etc. He won, together with his classmates, first prize of relay competition and 3rd prize of three-legged competition during the school’s sports day. In 2007, he participated in Wuxi City Hike and had completed 8km Walkathon, was one of the youngest participants whom able to accomplished the event. Jaden likes to read English story books. He joined the spelling bees competition and exhibited his confidence during the competition. Hope you be jovial and proactive always!

5 金樂納（Léna）

六年級的學生金樂納，法文名字叫Léna，源自希臘語Elenê, 意思是太陽的光芒，父母期盼她的性格豁達開朗，如地中海溫煦的陽光。如所盼，Lena正是一個善良真誠，陽光舒朗的女生。

兩年前，從法國轉(zhuǎn)學來到了外國語學校國際課程中心，適應能力很強的她很快融入了國內(nèi)的生活和學習環(huán)境。入學時，她的中文只有拼音基礎(chǔ)，現(xiàn)在能順利跟上六年級的課程，并且對中國的歷史、文字以及傳統(tǒng)文化產(chǎn)生了濃厚的興趣。在學校里，她尊重師長，和同學們和睦相處，分享快樂，共同進步。亦靜亦動，有時看上去不善言辭，性格內(nèi)斂，有時又活潑好動，讓自己的想象力和創(chuàng)造力肆意撒歡。 Léna興趣愛好廣泛 ，不知是否是因為幼時走多了博物館，拜讀了莫奈和畢加索，她對藝術(shù)執(zhí)著而熱戀，經(jīng)常拿起畫筆，或油彩，或素描，將心中的世界，噴然于畫紙。 Léna還很喜歡音樂，鋼琴、尤克里里、長笛、中國竹笛都是她心愛的樂器。

Léna ，希望你自己繼續(xù)美好下去，善良且有博愛的胸懷，勤勉知進取，未來的你一定會感謝現(xiàn)在努力的自己！

Lena’s French name comes from Greek “Elene” and means the light of the sun. Her parents expected she is open-minded and cheerful just like the warm Mediterranean sunshine. Lena is a kind, sincere and sunny girl, just as her parents expected. Two years ago, she transferred from France to the international department of the Wuxi Foreign Language School. With strong adaptability, she quickly integrated into the Chinese living and learning environment. When she entered the school two years ago, she only had a basic knowledge of pinyin. Now she can keep up with the sixth-grade courses successfully and has developed a strong interest in Chinese history, characters and traditional culture. At school, she respects her teachers and gets along well with her classmates, with whom she shares happiness and make progress. She is sometimes lively and sometimes very quiet. She has rich imagination and creativity thinkings. Lena is passionate about art, maybe she is deeply influenced by Monet and Picasso after visiting many museums when she was younger. She also likes music very much. Piano, ukulele, flute and Chinese bamboo flute are all her favourite instruments. Lena, we hope you continue to be good, but your goodness must have some edge to it. Lena, we hope you to be diligent and enterprising, the future of you will be grateful for your efforts now!
